Delete your Oku data

Oku by Cha.AI has no accounts. The little data we keep is tied to an anonymous ID for your phone.

How to ask

1. In Oku, open Settings and copy the ID under Registered as.
2. Email it to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my Oku data”.

We’ll delete it within 30 days and reply when it’s done.

What’s deleted

Your phone’s record (platform, app version, OS version, language and time zone), its push token and notification settings, the reminders we’ve sent it, and your usage counts.

What we don’t keep

Your journal. Your entries are saved on your phone (or in the folder you chose on Android), never on our servers, so they stay yours and only you can delete them. Text and audio you send for Oku’s prompts, haiku and transcription are processed to answer you and never stored.

Afterwards

If you keep using Oku, it starts fresh with a new ID.
